Things to know about Class 10th examinations of the J&K Board of School Education

Exams season is about to begin. Students have geared up for their board exams. Here are a few facts about Class X examinations of the J&K Board of School Education:Exam jammu kashmir

-55989 students will appear for Class X annual examinations this year.

-These students will take their tests in 554 examination centres across Jammu division.

-The number of Class XII aspirants is a little less. 34853 students will appear for these exams at 345 centres across the division.

-Pertinently, the Class X exams will be held from February 26 to March 17 while the Class XII examination from February 23 to March 23.

-Last year, around 49,201 candidates had appeared for the Class X examination at the 518 centres across Jammu province. Similarly, a total of 38,895 students had appeared for the Class XII board examination at the 276 centres. Apparently, Class X aspirants have increased, while Class XII candidates have decreased.

-No examination centre will be set up in private schools. To accommodate the number of candidates, 13 government middle schools are to be utilised. Earlier, the centres were only set up in high and higher secondary schools.
