On the eve of Karvachauth, today, Dogra women will be fasting today. Beating hunger and thirst, they will pray for longevity of their beloved husbands. Each year women follow the custom but only a few men repay it by observing the fast themselves.

Long drive: A long drive on Jammu-Katra highway. Sidhara road or Jammu-Pathankot highway is suggested. If not possible, a stroll in Bagh-E-Bahu, Green Belt Park, in Rajinder Park or along Ranbir Canal at Akhnoor Road would do.

Revisit your memories: One novel and inexpensive way to strnghthen your bond would be to revisit your memories by going through a photos album together.
Give her gifts: A conventional way of showing your love is by gifting her. Depending upon your partner’s choices, you can gift her jewellery, perfumes, dresses, shoes and so on.
