Recently, Devansh Yadav, Municipal Commissioner of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), shared an image on social media website, X.com, showcasing the under-construction Aarti Ghat at River Tawi at Riverfront Jammu. The site is in its final stages and is expected to be completed soon, offering an aesthetic and spiritual retreat for visitors.

The Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) initiated this Rs 18 lakh project in 2023. The construction of Aarti Ghat fulfills a long-standing demand of the local community. Once completed, it will serve as a dedicated space for Aarti rituals, spiritual gatherings, and religious ceremonies on the sacred banks of River Tawi.
