The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released the JKSSB Divisional Cadre Recruitment 2026 Notification under Advertisement Notification No. 07 of 2026. A total of 72 vacancies have been announced for various Divisional Cadre posts in the Kashmir Division.

The recruitment is being conducted under the Prime Minister’s Package for Kashmiri Migrants and Non-Migrant Kashmiri Pandits. Eligible candidates can submit their online applications from 10 August 2026 to 08 September 2026 through the official JKSSB website.

JKSSB has advertised 72 vacancies across seven different posts.

Department-wise Recruitment

The vacancies are available in the following departments:

• Public Works (R&B) Department
• Finance Department
• Planning Development & Monitoring Department
• Transport Department
• School Education Department
• Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Department

Who Can Apply

This recruitment is not open for all candidates.

Only the following candidates are eligible:

• Kashmiri Migrants under SRO-412 of 2009
• Non-Migrant Kashmiri Pandits under SRO-425 of 2017
• Candidates must possess a valid J&K Domicile Certificate

Candidates belonging to other categories who do not satisfy the above eligibility conditions cannot apply.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess all required qualifications on or before the prescribed cut-off date.

JKSSB Divisional Cadre Age Limit

Age will be calculated as on 01 January 2026.

Application Fee

Payment Mode: Online through Debit Card, Credit Card or Net Banking.

Salary

Selected candidates will receive salary according to the applicable Pay Level.

Selection Process

The recruitment process consists of two stages:

1. Written Examination

• Objective Type Questions
• OMR Based Test
• English Language
• Multiple Choice Questions
• Negative Marking: 0.25 marks for every wrong answer

2. Document Verification

Candidates shortlisted in the written examination will be called for document verification.

Final selection will be prepared on merit.
