On April 30, 2026, the Jammu and Kashmir Government made headlines with one of the largest administrative reshuffles in recent memory. Through Government Order No. 855-JK(GAD), dated 30.04.2026, the General Administration Department ordered the transfer and posting of 179 officers—a sweeping change that touches every level of bureaucracy across the region.
