The much-anticipated elections of the Jammu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI), which were earlier deferred due to the prevailing situation, were held successfully and peacefully today.

Arun Gupta has been re-elected as President JCCI for the third consecutive term while Munish Gupta as Secretary Secretary General of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Jammu, the election for which was held here today.

- Junior Vice President: Rajiv Gupta
- Treasurer: Rajesh Gupta
- Secretary General: Munish Gupta
- Secretary: Ashu Gupta
The new leadership team is expected to play a vital role in furthering the Chamber’s mission of supporting commerce, trade, and industrial development in the region.

Polling for six key office bearer posts—President, Senior Vice President, Junior Vice President, Secretary General, Secretary, and Treasurer—began at 10:00 AM and continued uninterrupted until 5:30 PM. The elections witnessed an overwhelming voter turnout, with 2,762 out of 2,975 eligible members casting their votes—marking a participation rate of over 92%.

Following the conclusion of polling, counting of votes commenced immediately. While full results are still awaited, Rajesh Gupta (Rinku) has secured victory for the post of Secretary.
Counting is ongoing for the remaining positions, and the final results are expected later this evening.
