Victory of good over evil was celebrated in most parts of Jammu and Kashmir on eve of Dussehra. Towering effigies of Ravan, Kumbhakaran (Ravan’s brother) and Meghanad (his son) were set on fire at dusk. Raamleela, stage play of Lord Rama’s story also came to an end with the end of the three villains. Here are a few glimples of Ravan dahan from all over the state:
