The Directorate of School Education Jammu (DSEJ) has officially declared a five-day Pooja holiday for all government and recognized private schools across the Jammu division. According to the notification, the holidays will be observed from October 19 to October 23, 2025, covering institutions up to the higher secondary level in both summer and winter zones.

In an official statement, the Director School Education, Jammu, confirmed that all educational institutions under its jurisdiction will remain closed during this period to mark the Pooja festivities. This announcement brings much-awaited relief and excitement to students and teachers preparing for the festive break.
Meanwhile, the University of Jammu has also announced the postponement of examinations scheduled for October 20, 22, and 23, 2025, due to the upcoming festivals. The university authorities have assured that revised dates for these postponed exams will be released soon. Students are advised to regularly visit the official university website for updates and fresh examination schedules.
