Toll Rates Announced for Lamber and Ujroo Fee Plazas on NH-44 Banihal Bypass: Effective from July 2, 2025

In a significant development for motorists and commercial transporters using the National Highway-44 (Banihal Bypass), the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India, has approved a revision in user fee rates at the Lamber and Ujroo toll plazas. The new rates will come into effect from July 2, 2025, for the remainder of the financial year 2025-26.

The revised toll rates follow the completion of the Banihal Bypass section and aim to rationalize the cost structure for various categories of vehicles. The announcement was made by the PIU-Ramban (Project Implementation Unit), directing publication in Hindi, English, and Urdu dailies.

Special Provision for Local Residents

To support local commuters, a subsidized monthly pass of ₹350 will be available for non-commercial vehicles residing within a 20 km radius of the toll plaza. This rate is subject to annual revision and ensures affordability for local travelers.

Implementation and Compliance

The PIU-Ramban office has urged for immediate and wide dissemination of the revised fee rates through official channels. All concerned departments and highway users are requested to take note and comply with the updated structure starting July 2, 2025.
