The Headquarters Northern Command is orchestrating the Combined Selection Board (CSB) interviews for the forthcoming academic term 2025-26. These interviews pertain to regular teaching Jobs across Army Public Schools (APS) situated in Akhnoor, Nagrota, and Rakhmuthi, and are scheduled to occur at APS Akhnoor.

For APS Nagrota

Postgraduate Teachers (PGTs): English and History
Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs): English

Key Details and Requirements

Remuneration and Allowances
- Salaries, along with DA and HRA, are disbursed following the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) guidelines.
Selection Procedure
- A comprehensive evaluation process, encompassing a teaching demonstration and an interview, will assess suitability for the role.
- No travel or daily allowances will be provided for attending interviews.
Essential Qualifications
- CTET certification is mandatory.
- Candidates who have cleared the Online Screening Test (OST) will be prioritized.
OST Criteria
- While OST clearance is not a prerequisite for attending the interview, selected individuals must secure at least 50% marks in OST (100 marks scale) within two years of appointment.
Educational Standards
- All applicants must meet the eligibility criteria set forth by the CBSE Affiliation Bye-laws.

Obtaining Forms

Application forms are available at APS Akhnoor between 0900 hrs and 1400 hrs on working days or can be downloaded from the official website: www.armypublicschoolakhnoor.com.

Submission Guidelines

Completed application forms, along with a Demand Draft (DD) of ₹250 payable to Army Public School Akhnoor, must be submitted to the respective school (Akhnoor, Nagrota, or Rakhmuthi) no later than 17 January 2025 by 1400 hrs.
Emailed applications will not be entertained.

Documentation

Self-attested copies of all educational and experience certificates must accompany the application.

Special Considerations

Widows of Army personnel and wives of 100% disabled Army personnel may be considered for certain positions even without CSB or B.Ed certifications, as per AWES guidelines.
