J&K Govt Jobs: Eligibility Criteria for Accounts Assistant Recruitment
The JKSSB has released detailed eligibility conditions, including domicile, age, and educational qualification. All candidates must meet these requirements to participate in the selection process.
1. Domicile Requirement
Applicants must be domiciles of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.
They must possess a valid domicile certificate issued by the Competent Authority on or before the last date of application, tentatively 06 January 2026 (subject to change).
2. Educational Qualification
- Graduation in any stream from any recognized University with minimum of 50% marks for Open merit and 45% marks for Reserved categories. However, candidates having post graduation degree with 50% marks or holding a PhD degree shall also be eligible for selection.
- Candidates shortlisted for Document Verification must produce original certificates proving they meet the prescribed qualifications on or before the cutoff date.
- Any candidate failing to provide valid documents at the time of verification will have their application cancelled.
- Candidates claiming equivalent qualifications must produce an equivalence certificate from the competent authority.
3. Age Limit
The age criteria for Open Merit and Reserved Categories will be considered as on 01 January 2025, as per the government norms outlined in the notification.
Vacancy Details
