The four-day “Tawi Festival,” organized by Amar Mahal Museum and Library, concluded today. This edition of the four-day ‘Tawi Festival’ remained strictly focused on promoting Jammu’s rich and diverse art forms and cultural heritage. It provided a platform for youth to express their creativity and engage in discussions with experts.

The festival featured seminars, workshops, talks, performances of folk music and street theatre, classical and folk dance and music, and a Mela. The emphasis was on showcasing entrepreneurship, innovation, local cuisines, and organic products sourced from women’s NGO groups across the Himalayan region. The concluding day was hosted at the University of Jammu.

As part of the closing events, a seminar on Himalayan Conservation was organized, during which participants emphasized the need to conserve the Himalayas.
