The Kashmir Tourism Department has banned school buses from entering the tourist resort of Gulmarg on weekends as a regulatory measure to manage the heavy influx of visitors. In an advisory, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Tourism Development Authority, Gulmarg, stated that due to the significant number of locals and tourists visiting Gulmarg on weekends, it has become necessary to implement these regulations. The officer advised schools to seek prior permission from the development authority by emailing gulmarggda@gmail.com or calling 9622500725 at least one week before their excursion.
