Haji Public School may not be as popular as the Hogwarts school of the Harry Potter series, yet JK Rowling, the creator of the series has developed interest in this school of remote areas of Doda district.
What drew Rowling’s attention to the school and its students was this essay written by one Kulsum Bano, a 12 year old student of the same school.
Priya, teacher, put picture of Kulsum’s essay on twitter, which was retweeted to JK Rowling. On reading this JK Rowling replied herself and changed the lives of many. Rowling surprised the school with a reply to Haji’s tweet, asking for Kulsum’s full name to be able to “send her something”. The way Rowling has asked for the young girl’s full name, it can be anticipated that whatever she sends her, would be signed and addressed to Kulsum Bano Batt, full name of the little girl.
Please can you send me Kulsum’s full name by DM? I’d love to send her something.
