PM Narendra Modi’s development mantra for Jammu & Kashmir

The J&K state has never been famous for its infrastructure, job opportunities and professional colleges since Independence of India. Thanks to Sheikh Abdullah and his family they never take interest in building the J&K state instead they always fight for irrelevant matters and always propagate two-nation theory.PM_Modi-independence-day_Speech Kashmir jammu

Professional Colleges and Universities

From the last 4.5 years, the BJP government led by PM Narendra Modi has been doing phenomenal work for the development of J&K state. The state which has been always in the spotlight for terrorism activities, now gaining momentum towards the development of the state’s infrastructure. PM Modi brought IIT and IIM in J&K state and our state becomes one of the few states in India which is having both IIT and IIM in the same state. The inauguration of AIIMS in Jammu and Awantipora makes J&K first state in India which is having two AIIMS hospital in a state. A new northern centre of Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) is also granted to Jammu city. These radical and grass -root level developments which definitely enhance J&K state in terms of jobs growth, infrastructure and it will help slow down the migration of youths from J&K to metro cities in search of an affluent career.

Ladakh Region

PM Modi is not only eyeing Jammu and Srinagar part, but he is also developing Ladakh region which has been ignored by Abdullah’s family and the Congress party since the independence of India. Recently, governor Satya Pal Malik has ordered for the new administrative division for Ladakh and that means Ladakh will have its own district commissioner and inspector general of police. Earlier, the Ladakh region was totally dependent on Srinagar administration for revenue and administration work. Now, Ladakh will independently work for the development of its region.

During his recent visit to Ladakh region, PM Modi laid the foundation for the University of Ladakh, it will be the first-ever university in the Leh-Ladakh region which will comprise degree colleges of Leh, Kargil, Nubra, Zanskar, Drass and Khaltsi. During the winter season, the Leh-Ladakh region always got disconnected because of extreme weather conditions. In terms of road and highway connectivity, PM Modi has already laid the foundation of several highways and underpass roads which will be opened 24*7 and 365 days and it will certainly help Ladakh region to be connected with rest of the world during the winter season.

100% Electrification of J&K State

Another aspect of every developed region is the availability of electricity to its citizen. Jammu and Kashmir had achieved 100% household electrification in the state in November 2018 and thus qualified for receiving an additional grant of 15 per cent of the project cost under “Pradhan Mantri Sahaj Bijli Har Ghar Yojana” (Saubhagya).

Terrorism in J&K State

The security of any state is always the main concern for its business and development. This is the most difficult area which PM Modi has clearly emerged as the winner. He never hesitated and did not flinch even for a moment before taking bold decisions of counter-attack in taking the revenge of our innocent Army Jawans killed by terrorists. The surgical strikes near the Myanmar border and the Uri sector, both are the testimony to his tough and bold administrative skills.

If PM Modi retains power in May 2019 then I am sure that people of J&K state would see more radical developments and infrastructural growth which will certainly help the state to grow in several aspects.
